The performance experiment „Machine to become” consists of a trilogy to tackle complex concepts and transform powerful stereotypes through working with audience assumptions, stories, sounds and movement. The project was created in 2016 as part of Oito Solos +1, a platform of Grupo Oito, by dancers/choreographers Caroline Alves and Natalie Riedelsheimer. Since 2019, they have been developing it further with dramaturg Nora Haakh and collaborating with a growing network of women artists. At the moment, two productions from the trilogy have already celebrated their premieres. Check them out below.
